Johnny Fox was a performer at the Maryland Renaissance Festival. He got cancer this past summer but survived it long enough to perform at one last festival. Here’s a review of Mr. Hockey: My Story by Gordie Howe I wrote a couple of years ago. I spoke to his son, Mark, shortly afterward, only to learn he hadn’t actually read the book yet! I can’t imagine, however, there was anything in the book his son didn’t already know.
