Caps Media Fantasy Camp

I attended Caps media fantasy camp again, the first time the event was held since 2019. I ran into people I’ve known for decades, and even someone I went to high school with who is now a newscaster.

During the scrimmage, I was probably playing a bit too aggressively, though the other team had some ringers as well so I couldn’t just let them skate around everyone. I accidentally ran into Bears reporter Allie Berube, and fortunately, I took the brunt of the hit, which obviously I could handle. She apologized afterward but I told her that it was actually a good thing because it gave us something to talk about publicly. Sure enough, she spoke about it on her broadcast.
