I couldn’t even finish reading this article. Hits too close to home.
But I ask, respectfully, what is a real solution?
Medicine? Therapy? Electro-shock therapy? Perhaps, but it’s artificial, and can’t really take the place of what’s really needed.
Support from friends? Family? Perhaps, but they can’t always be there and may not even strike the right chords of relief, even temporarily.
I know what the answer isn’t, and no, ‘stigma’ isn’t always the great wall of shame people make it out to be.
Without real solutions, life is bound to circle right back, and no one should be expected to keep hanging by threads.
